Urban Pirates has been sailing since 2008, this boat tour company owned and operated by Cara Joyce. The company hosts pirate adventures aboard custom built pirate ships that sail out of Baltimore and the National Harbor in Washington DC. In Baltimore, the company sails out of the Ann Street Pier in Fells Point, aboard a ship called 'Fearless'. This ship was custom built to Coast Gaurd standards, a 52 long 225 hp diesel-powered ship equipped with water cannons along the sides and built to fit 49 passengers comfortably.
You will be able to enjoy interactive family cruises or adult Bring Your Own Grog voyages, the family cruises mean for families with kids aged 3-10. The family adventure cruises last about 1.5 hours and take the group out into the waters of the Inner Harbor while they dress up as pirates and learn to talk, dance, and play games like a pirate. Guests will don pirate vests, tattoos, and drawn on facial hair as they transform into true 'salty dogs', then they will man the water cannons and spray any pirates who try to come near their booty!
More cruises are available for private charters for field trips, camps, schools, scouts, church groups, and more. These private cruises will be filled with team building and pirate tales, providing both an educational and entertaining option for visiting groups.
