Orlando
Ron Jon Surf Shop, Disney, and Universal Studios all provide really excellent performance opportunities for bands and chorus groups, the latter two of the grouping providing really excellent entertainment opportunities as well. Disney OnStage and Universal STARS will allow your group to be officially critiqued and workshopped, and also provide extra special performance opportunities such as music festivals, parade competitions, holiday festivals/events, annual parades, etc.
Orlando also allows your group to enjoy several different viewable performances, from the Blue Man Group to the local theater or any shows happening at the many theme parks within the city.

Washington D.C
Take in the history, education, and musical tips left and right as you choose between several different DC museums and memorials such as the Jefferson Memorial, National Mall, Washington Harbor, Six Flags Over America, and the MLK, Jr. Memorial.
If you time your visit right you and your group can also choose to perform in the National Independence Day Parade on the 4th of July or the National Cherry Blossom Parade in the spring! (Note the upcoming opportunity to play in the Presidential Inaugural Parade in 2017 as well).

New York City
NYC is filled to the brim with excellent performance options, from the countless performance venues throughout the Broadway-based city to the epic annual performances, such as the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
You and your performance group will be able to sightsee some of the most iconic American attractions, eat some of the most delicious foods, and play in some of the most beautiful venues. The Statue of Liberty is an excellent place to start, though if you want something a little more . . . New York-y head to Carnegie Hall. You can also perform in St. Patrick's beautiful cathedral and at the Lincoln Center!

Chicago
Chicago really knows how to celebrate the holiday season, from its countless extravagant holiday-themed festivals to it’s naturally festive and bright city scenery. Our favorite part of the holiday season in the Windy City? The Magnificent Mile Lights Festival Parade. This parade is a part of a larger holiday festival taking place in downtown Chicago’s Magnificent Mile, one of the greatest avenues for shopping, dining, and hospitality in the entire world, especially bright during this seasonal festival. This tradition has been taking place for over 50 years now, the lit trees along the city street a sign, for many, as the beginning of the holiday season.
There are typically 5-7 different high school bands chosen to perform in this event, surrounded by over 1 million spectators on the sideline watching the various lighted floats, other marching bands, balloons, and performing artists.

Gatlinburg
Gorgeous Gatlinburg really puts together one heck of a music festival, the 3-Day Smoky Mountain Music Festival! Happening every year in late April and early May, this is one of the most respected and unique festivals of its kind, accepting thousands of students from elementary to high school. This festival is dedicated to excellence and expresses this by offering young musicians "an opportunity to demonstrate their talents before prestigious adjudicators". This year will be its 31st consecutive year, drawing musical groups from over 30 states and Canada!
With this opportunity, you will perform among over 6,000 bands from across the country under the direction of the University of Tennessee Knoxville’s Director of Bands W.J. Julian, and enjoy the local buzz of downtown’s parade scene.

Hawaii
The Islands of Hawaii allow several fun opportunities for performances by various groups, especially in Waikiki where you can pay tribute to those fallen during the infamous and tragic 1941 attack by playing in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade (75th anniversary this year). You will be able to play in a parade if you are a marching band, at the bandshell if you are a concert band or chorus group, and enjoy countless small performance opportunities at parks and beaches around the island.
Not only will you be able to enjoy these performance opportunities, but you will also be able to watch other groups perform, enjoy the concert and parade, and take part in various tours, movie nights, beach events, and sightseeing opportunities while you are here!
