Texas Toy Museum
Once the private collection of Austin local Caleb Zammit, the Texas Toy Museum features over 20,000 different toys encompassing the early 1920s to early 2000s, providing quite the entertaining stop for groups of all ages while visiting Austin.
This unique museum sits within the SoCo District and works to collect, preserve, and display vintage toys as well as educate the community on the historic significance and cultural impact of rare and vintage toys.
Within the museum, you will find everything from action figures and dolls to arcade games and early video game consoles. Spend your time playing vintage arcades like Galaga and Pac Man, with unlimited free play included in the museum's admission. See unique and rare items like prototypes of action figures straight from the toy companies, as well as many toys plucked from the 'golden age' of play in the 1980s. Explore old comic books, see a classic Teddy Ruxpin, find out where Alien vs Predator began, and much more!
