Some of America's most notable citizens rest here at Granary Burying Ground, the historic Boston cemetery established in the 1660s. There are over 5000 bodies buried here, though you will only see about 2300 headstones, as some bodies were buried together. Many of these men were an integral part of the American Revolution; you will even find the resting place of Paul Revere and Samual Adams amongst the graves.
