Student groups of Kansas City Royals Fans on Heartland excursion won’t want to miss landmark Kauffman Stadium, one of Major League Baseball’s “crown jewel ballparks”. A $250 million renovation of “The K” unveiled just prior to the 2009 season serves up a spectacularly enhanced stadium experience featuring unsurpassed amenities, thrilling ballpark attractions and state-of-the-art technology including enhanced viewing options, Outfield Plaza, the Royals Hall of Fame, an interactive Kids Area and the 84’x104’ Crown Vision scoreboard - the largest high-definition video board in the game.
