If you are here from December to March you can participate in snowy things, like tubing, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and the like with several centers, terrain parks, and slope trails to choose from. Ride the fun 2.1-mile aerial tramway from downtown to the slopes and enjoy world-class snow fun options, and don’t worry, Ober will rent you equipment and clothing to ski, as well as provide several lesson options if you need!
If you want a different kind of thrill head over the Ski Mountain Coaster or Alpine Slide, the latter a fun option for all that weaves you through your mountainside descent down 1,800 feet of tracks. A Wildlife Encounter will bring you closer to bears, otters, bobcats, and birds of prey. Young kids in your group will love the carousel, arcade, chair swing, golf, maze, and kiddieland options!
Head to any of the six different shops, ranging from gifts to leather goods to family crests, to get some retail therapy in or maybe even to grab a bite to eat before you go. Here you will find cafe style food at the Market, Sidewalk Cafe, or Leona's Deli, or sit down for the unbeatable flavors, and views, from Seasons of Ober’s Loft Lounge! This entire stop is one you won’t regret, just be sure to bring your camera to capture those views!
