Murry's Dinner Playhouse
In 1967 a small theater by the name of the Olde West Dinner Theatre came alive in downtown Little Rock. A 10-year successful run and new owner, Ike Murry, remodeled and renamed this company in 1977, and since then it has grown into a highly popular regional entertainment hotspot. Murry’s Dinner Playhouse is a member of the National Dinner Theater Association and is considered the most exciting evening of dining and entertainment one can get in Little Rock! The founder, Ike Murry, was a well-known and respected lawyer and civic leader who even served as the state attorney general but wanted a popular and funny nightcap. This nightcap, the dinner playhouse, now serves up food, fun, and fabulous live entertainment to thousands of guests annually.
Murry’s is a unique facility combining great dinner buffet with professional theatre. The menu is show-specific, each planned thoroughly by the in house chef. The current Arsenic and Lace menu features roast beef and au jus, fish and chips, and enchiladas! The shows are live stage productions that include top-notch Broadway musicals and comedies that are fun for the whole family. You can see such shows as Hairspray, nature shows, 50s doo-wop, and even Etta May. Your group is really going to enjoy this theater with exciting broadway performances, and your stomach is going to really enjoy that delicious dinner buffet!
