Welcome to the Mt. Crescent Ski Area, the #1 place to learn to ski and snowboard and to sled! Located just 15 miles northeast of Omaha within the mountainous terrain of the Iowa Bluffs, this fun winter sports wonderland is perfect for any visiting groups looking to hit the slopes and test their snowy skills!
Mt. Crescent has been open since 1961, serving happy skiers and snowboarders for over 50 years now. There are a variety of slopes that fit both first-timers and professionals looking to hone their skills, as well as every stage in between. There are ski runs up to 2,400 feet in length (7 football fields), a sledding run 1000 feet in length, a Swiss-style inspired lodge with a year-round sundeck, and an onsite cafe serving up 'hearty winter fare'. There are even options for night skiing with night-lit runs.
The park is open December through March and offers group ski/snowboard lessons, rentals, teambuilding opportunities, and special field trip options that allow students to sled, ski/snowboard, or zibob sled!
