This quaint history museum displays model trains and layouts, Abraham Lincoln artifacts, and other various historic memorabilia throughout, the entire collection allowing you to 'journey the rails with President Lincoln as he shares his love of America with you!'.
Explore the history and heroes of America from our forefathers to 9/11 within, the collections including Americana from politics to sports, Hollywood, the wild west, world wars, civil war, military, and the railroad. Learn the historic route of president Lincolns funeral journey from DC to Springfield and even ride on a recreated funeral car. You will learn all about how the 16th president of the United States was instrumental in forging the American Railroad system, and you will get to see several one of a kind artifacts along the way such as the Whippoorwill Whistle, Patriotic Mourning Cockade from Lincoln's funeral, the Electric Dynamic Train, and the Tribute Golden Boy Lincoln Rifle.
In front of the museum stop and see the Maryland and Pennslyvania Bobber Caboose Number 2005, this piece of history running the rails from 1899 to 1925.
