Klyde Warren Park
Built above the recessed Woodall Rodgers Freeway, the Klyde Warren Park is a 5.2-acre urban deck park in the middle of downtown Dallas. Designed for easy recreation, this urban gathering spot brings nature and community to the busy city center.
An active environment, Klyde Warren Park is constantly offering outdoor activities including yoga on the lawn, Zumba, concerts and outdoor films, book signings and more. There is an average of 4-5 activities every day and more on the weekends. This is a wonderful free attraction that combines community fun, the city, and traditional outdoor fun.
The park is open daily from 6 am-11 pm with a number of park features that make for an inviting and beautiful place to take a break from the hectic city. The Children’s Park is perfect for young kids to interact and play while the Botanical Garden is a restful and relaxing place for adults to sit and meditate. The Dallas Morning News Reading and Games Room offers a lending library, magazine rack, storytimes, along with speakers, and game carts with chess, checkers, and more. The game carts are available throughout the park from 10 am-6 pm daily except in inclement weather.
Located near the Nasher Sculpture Center and the Dallas Museum of Art, Klyde Warren Park is the perfect spot to take a rest from touring without leaving the city center. Food trucks park at Klyde Warren daily and change throughout the week to provide a good selection of menu items.
