If you’ve ever seen movies set in Hollywood or know anything about Tinseltown’s popular attractions, chances are you will recognize Grauman’s Chinese Theatre for its iconic red Chinese pagoda facade. Whether you want to catch a movie or simply experience the magic of the place, Grauman’s Chinese Theatre is a can’t-miss attraction in Hollywood.
Enter through the forecourt and walk across the footprints, handprints, and names of your favorite stars. Slip past the stone lion-dogs guarding the entrance and find your way into the main lobby where three wax figures from the Hollywood Wax Museum rest behind glass cases. Explore the Asian statuettes, gongs, urns, shields, icons and other decor spread throughout the theatre. If you decide to see a movie, enter the large auditorium like a star walking on the red carpeting. When you sit in your plush red seat, look up to see a brilliant starburst surrounded by dragons and other Asian cultural icons.
