Dogwood Canyon Nature Park
Welcome to Dogwood Canyon Nature Park, the 10,000-acre nature preserve offering hiking, biking, fishing, horseback, tram, and segway adventures! There is also an onsite restaurant, as well as cabins for rent on the property.
One of the most popular things to do here is the Wildlife Tram Tour, an informative 2-hour narrated tour that takes you through the canyon floor, past waterfalls, forest, and bluffs. You will ride open-air trams and see notable stops along the way such as the 1800s style wedding chapel, Thunder Falls crossing, and the gorgeous blue-green Glory Hole. Toward the end, you will cross into Arkansas and see local wildlife such as bison, elk, and deer.
You can also take a horseback riding adventure, a segway tour, a private group tour, hike the trails, bike the trails, or, one of our personal favorites, a guided fishing adventure! The fishing here is amazing, the spring-fed waters stocked with rainbow trout. You can rent a rod and catch and release or keep them, whichever you prefer.
There is an onsite restaurant, Mill and Canyon Grill, that features excellent views of a waterfall as well as excellent bbq, burgers, fish, and pizza. Try their signature Smoked Trout BLT or Fried Catfish Sandwich!
This is one of the best places to explore the Ozark wilderness, learn, and have fun all at the same time!
