Welcome to Cider Hill Family Orchard, the family-oriented u-pick orchard located in Kansas City, Kansas.
'In the business of creating family memories and providing healthy home-grown food', Cider Hill Family Orchard is an excellent place to take your group to allow them to experience picking their own food, as well as learning about the process behind planting, growing, and harvesting it. The orchard is open for apple season from late July to late October, a fun stretch of months in which you can come pick, enjoy yummy treats, take a hayride, relax by the fire, or simply enjoy the fresh country air! Speaking of yummy treats, Cider Hill Family Orchard offers guests fresh cider donuts, kettle corn, apple cider slushes, smoked cheese, apple crisp, apple butter, honey, bbq lunch onsite, and so much more within the onsite cottage store!
The entire orchard sits upon 38 acres and is covered with 1500 apple trees that produce 18 different kinds of apples, from July's Pristine Apple to early November's Golden Delicious Apple. At certain times during the year, the orchard is also open for picking cherries, blackberries, raspberries, and asparagus.
