Mint Museum
Dedicated to showcasing the ingenuity of human imagination and hard work, the Mint Museum and its two striking facilities offer the opportunity for an enriched understanding of fine art, craft and design.
The Mint Museum uptown is part of an urban cultural campus. Two full floors of galleries shed light on the inspired creations of talented people: one dedicated to the Mint Museum of Craft + Design and one dedicated to American Art, Contemporary Art and a selection of European Art. The museum also houses a Family Gallery, expanded Museum Shop, a café, a 240-seat auditorium, painting and clay studios and a Special Events Pavilion with an outdoor terrace.
With the opening of the new uptown location, the historic Mint Museum Randolph will execute a re-installation plan and dedicate its galleries to showcasing its treasured collections of Art of the Ancient Americas, Ceramics and Historic Costume & Fashionable Dress, along with selections of African Art, Asian Art, Coins & Currency, Decorative Arts, European Art, Native American Art and Spanish Colonial Art.
The new and expanded Mint combines innovative education programs with groundbreaking exhibitions to provide its visitors with unparalleled art experiences.
