1
Destin Harbor Boardwalk
The Destin Harbor Boardwalk is home to the Destin Fishing Fleet, the largest charter fishing fleet in the country! This booming boardwalk boasts a barrage of shopping, dining, and recreation opportunities that we feel guests of any age will love. Start your journey by getting a first-hand look at the World's Luckiest Fishing Village's charter fishing fleet, with plenty of options for renting boats and fishing gear all around the boardwalk. You can rent a pontoon boat, take a sailing charter, enjoy a pirate ship excursion, board a dolphin cruise, enjoy the thrill of a jet boat, take a tour in a glass-bottom boat, and so much more! If you want more of a recreational thrill then consider paddleboarding, kayaking, jet-skiing, renting a Waverunner, parasailing, or snorkeling!
SandCastle Lessons
Welcome to Destin Pointe's most creative and entertaining recreation activity: SandCastle Lessons from Beach Sand Sculptures! This award-winning sand sculpture lesson-based company is headed by Master Instructor Rick Mungeam, who won the Pro-Am Division of the World Championship of Sand Sculpting in 2011. He and his wife Carrie now train around 25 sand sculpting instructors each year to help visitors to Destin Pointe 'create memories in the sand'. Your sandcastle building experience will last about 2 to 3 hours. The experience 'stimulates each sculptor's imagination to draw out their artistic creativity', something a guest of any age will love to partake in!
Henderson Beach State Park
At Henderson Beach State Park your group will be met by 30-foot white sand dunes and warm Emerald Gulf waters. Relax, fish, or hike while here, or simply spend your day swimming in the perfectly warm and crystal clear waters. The water temperature is 75 to 80 degrees on average and the unique emerald green color you see is due to the sunlight reflecting off of the white sand along the shore. Explore the wrack along the shore (sargassum seaweed), and spend some time birdwatching along one of the many nature trails for pelicans, skimmers, or terns. You will also see such wildlife as sand pines, scrub oaks, southern magnolias, dune rosemary, and a variety of local wildflowers.
Rainforest Black Light Golf & Arcade
No matter what the weather is outside, whether rainy or scorching hot, this attraction will offer a respite from the elements. Enjoy an indoor mini-golf adventure, this attraction providing a fun rainforest-themed 18-hole course. The blacklights provide a fun twist on a game you already love, and the rainforest theme adds extra fun. After you've played some putt-putt, head over to the high-energy arcade area filled with games such as dodgeball, basketball, and the highly unique BEAM Interactive Play Projection System. Enjoy 10+ interactive blow-up games, from soccer to Zombots.
2
Big Kahuna's Water & Adventure Park
This fun water and adventure park was first established here in Destin in 1986. It features over 40 attractions including play areas, thrill rides, high slides, and massive pools. There is also miniature golf onsite, as well as several eateries! Enjoy such fun attractions as the 5-story Jumanji, Maui Pipeline, Cobra Twister, Kowabunga Racer, and Tiki River Run. At the adventure park get a serious thrill with the Cyclone Twister or Sky Coaster. Younger children will love the Kids Buccaneer Cove and Pleasure Island. Once you work up an appetite head to the Gulf View Food Court, Bomb's Away Cafe, or The Cove for something tasty to eat!
Southern Star Dolphin Cruise
Each 2-hour cruise will allow guests to enjoy the emerald green waters and sugar-white sand beaches aboard the 80 foot, 149-person capacity vessel. There is a covered upper deck, climate-controlled galley, and glass bottom to the boat, making it the optimal water cruiser for any weather or water conditions! Enjoy a narrated tour of the harbor, complete with area history, dolphin spotting and educating, and relaxing island music. You will experience close-up views of dolphins (Atlantic Coastal Bottlenose Dolphins), seabirds, and other marine life! The cruise will take you to the East Pass of the Gulf of Mexico or Marler Bridge, depending on the water conditions.
3
Destin Snorkel
During your visit, your group is going to take the 3-hour, 2-Stop Snorkel Tour. During the tour, you will get to explore diverse ecosystems within the bay waters and man-made jetties. Your first stop will allow shallow water snorkeling for an hour or so in the bay, then you will board the boat again and head to the East Jetties on the beaches of Holiday Isle to anchor down. Here you can continue to snorkel here, or perhaps use one of the free kayaks to explore. You can also view dolphins and spend some time shelling here!
Destin Commons
Enjoy over 95 stores and eateries within this center, the award-winning line up of stores including Florida's first Paula Deen's Family Kitchen, a local favorite Uncle Buck's Fishbowl and Grill, and classics like Abercrombie and Fitch. Start your journey at Destin Commons with some shopping. Next, grab a bite to eat at any of the many onsite restaurants. For entertainment you will have several options, starting with the onsite AMC Dolby Cinema Theater. Watch the latest blockbuster hits in recliners on an IMAX screen, the theater usually hosting about 14 movies at once, giving your group plenty of options.
