The Destin Harbor Boardwalk is home to the Destin Fishing Fleet, the largest charter fishing fleet in the country! This booming boardwalk boasts a barrage of shopping, dining, and recreation opportunities that we feel guests of any age will love. Start your journey by getting a first-hand look at the World's Luckiest Fishing Village's charter fishing fleet, with plenty of options for renting boats and fishing gear all around the boardwalk. You can rent a pontoon boat, take a sailing charter, enjoy a pirate ship excursion, board a dolphin cruise, enjoy the thrill of a jet boat, take a tour in a glass-bottom boat, and so much more! If you want more of a recreational thrill then consider paddleboarding, kayaking, jet-skiing, renting a Waverunner, parasailing, or snorkeling!
SandCastle Lessons
This award-winning sand sculpture lesson-based company is headed by Master Instructor Rick Mungeam. Your sandcastle building experience will last about 2 to 3 hours and will 'stimulate your imagination to draw out their artistic creativity', something a guest of any age will love to partake in! This company has earned the 5 Bubble TripAdvisor “Recommended Business” in 2013 and 2014, and 2015 through 2017 they received the coveted TripAdvisor “Certificate of Excellence”. The company is now the World's Largest SandCasltle Lesson Company, giving thousands of lessons each year.
Henderson Beach State Park
At Henderson Beach State Park your group will be met by 30-foot white sand dunes and warm Emerald Gulf waters. While here your group will be able to utilize the gorgeous beach, boardwalk, nature trails, playgrounds, and over 60 campgrounds. Relax, fish, or hike while here, or simply spend your day swimming in the perfectly warm and crystal clear waters. The water temperature is 75 to 80 degrees on average and the unique emerald green color you see is due to the sunlight reflecting off of the white sand along the shore. While here you will be able to see marine life such as tropical fish (redfish, flounder, pampano), dolphins, and both green and loggerhead sea turtles.

Gulfarium Marine Park
Here at the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park, your group can enjoy dolphin encounters and shows with sharks, rays, and dolphins daily. See animals such as Bottlenose Dolphins, Asian Small-Clawed Otters, African Penguins, Harbor Seals, Yellow-Crested Cockatoos, Cownose Rays, Lemon Sharks, and more. Opt-in for a special school visit with instructed led education adventure programs, with options from Tide Pool Explorers (pre-k-k) to Classical Versus Operant Condition (college). There are additional Adventure Group Optional Lunch packages for these trips.
Gator Beach
This exciting educational entertainment spot is actually a part of another one of Destin's most popular attractions, Fudpuckers. Start your visit at Fudpuckers, an eatery offering a 'dining experience like no other'. Enjoy fresh seafood, tender chicken, and classic alligator dishes alongside the traditional Americana 'burgers and fries' option. Then, at Gator Beach, you will see over 100 live American alligators, with plenty of interactive experiences to be had such as feeding the gators and having your photo taken with them. Visit the baby alligators, just 12" in length, then watch a free daily show around 5 pm to learn about their habitat, the world record gator, and the difference in alligators and crocodiles.
