For a religious educational experience like no other head to northern Kentucky's Ark Encounter, 'the most authentic replica of Noah's Ark in the world'.
This religious museum and attraction allows guests the opportunity to see the biblical account of the ark come to life, the massive ship built accurately to biblical dimensions. The ship is 510 feet long, 85 feet wide, and 51 feet high, holding 3 massive decks. Inside you will find several interactive exhibits, an onsite zoo, a virtual reality experience, and a 2-story restaurant nearby perfect for groups of all sizes.
Explore the exhibits and you will travel back in time to meet Noah and his family as you get real-life solutions and answers to questions you may have about the Ark and its historical accuracy. There are several different exhibits to see such as Why is the Bible True, Noah's Family, Animals on Board, Pre Flood World, and much more. All of the exhibits display a commitment to historical accuracy and artistic excellence as well, guests able to admire the incredible workmanship of the hull while exploring, the work done mostly by Amish craftsmen using standing dead timber. The Answers Center will put on daily presentations with world-class creation apologetics speakers, as well as concerts, lectures, and more.
After you've explored all the exhibits head to the Ararat Ridge Zoo, this onsite zoo filled with exotic creatures from all over the world such as sloths, kangaroos, zebras, tortoises, and more. This will give you a better idea of what sorts of animals were said to be on the ship. Next, you can head to the Virtual Reality Experience, the Truth Traveler, as you experience 'A Flood of Reality' with an immersive 4K experience showing you the building of the ark, the flood, and more.
As if that wasn't enough you can also head outside and experience The Screaming Eagle Zip Line course and aerial challenge zone. You will most certainly work up an appetite so save plenty of time to head to Emzara's Buffet or any of the surrounding food vendor shops to grab a bite to eat.
