Arizona Science Center
Engaging Curious Minds Through Science.
Student groups of all ages will love a visit to the Arizona Science Center, the science museum located in Heritage and Science Park in downtown Phoenix. This sprawling center is home to over 350 permanent hands-on exhibits and provides over 400,000 annual visitors with interactive experiences and lessons.
Arizona Science Center has been named one of the premier science centers in the nation, the 4-story museum boasting a state of the art onsite planetarium, 3D theater, and countless interactive experiences and live science demonstrations throughout.
During your visit, your group will be able to explore the museum on your own, with the option to add on a field trip experience if you would like. There are add-on demonstrations such as Great Balls of Fire and Stomach This, as well as various thematic add-on experiences like Buggin Out and Awesome Dissections. There are several regularly changing exhibits in the museum, as well as a handful of permanent exhibits that include Flight Zone, The W.O.N.D.E.R Center, Evans Family SkyCycle, Get Charged Up, Forces of Nature, and more. As we mentioned before there are also other options for learning and entertainment while here including the Dorrance Planetarium, one of the largest and most technologically advanced in the United States, the Irene P Flinn Theater, and the always exciting CREATE Makerspace.
