A private Jesuit university located in the heart of New Orleans, Loyola University is always a good campus visit to make while in the area. The university is located on a gorgeous 24-acre campus on historic St. Charles Avenue, right across from the Audubon Park.
Loyola University was founded in 1904 by Jesuit Saint Ignatius of Loyola. This college has been ranked #12 'best regional university of the South', as well as #11 for 'best quality of life'. The university thrives in a city infused with technology, talent, and rich culture, welcoming an average of 4,500 undergrad and grad students each year.
During your visit, you will have the opportunity to take a guided group tour and explore what it would mean to become a part of the Wolf Pack. You will tour the campus, meet students and staff, sit in on a class, and/or talk with admissions and financial aid counselors. Learn all about the 130 campus student organizations, clubs, and sports teams, this school a part of Division I Athletics (18 varsity sports). You will learn about the student/faculty ratio of 12:1, the 50+ study abroad country outreaches, and, most importantly, the 110 undergrad and 36 grad programs available to prospective students. The programs include a wide range of studies, from Accountancy to Vocal Performance.
