Cameron Park
'Where Waco Celebrates Life'
Welcome to Cameron Park, one of the largest municipal parks in all of Texas, a 400-acre recreation haven!
With unbeatable local views, unbeatable access to local attractions and recreation, and an unbeatable location right between Downtown Waco and the Brazos River, we really couldn't let your group go to Waco without stopping here!
Resilient trees, access to 2 rivers, gorgeous cliffs, and a national recreational trail system make up most of this park space, but there are also many different playgrounds, pavilions, and scenic cliff overlooks we think are worth mentioning. Here's what you'll see at Cameron Park:
- Pecan Bottoms Playground and Splash Pad
- Anniversary Park
- Northern Gateway Park
- Lover's Leap - Cameron Park Cliffs
- Emmons Cliff
- The Mouth of Bosque
- Circle Point
- Lawsons Point
- Miss Nellies Pretty Place - Indian Paintbrushes, Black Eyed Susans, Bluebonnets
- Jacobs Ladder
- Root Canal Trail
- Cameron Park Zoo
- 15 total miles of River Trail
Take a look at the included trail map to plan out some hiking or biking activities before you go.
We also suggest you save some time and money and use this stop for a picnic lunch or dinner opportunity.
