Witte Museum
Where Nature, Science, and Culture Meet
Located within Brackenridge Park, Midtown San Antonio, the beloved Witte Museum will provide your group with several different tours and exhibits regarding natural history, and Texas heritage. The museum recently completed a $100 million transformation of the museum’s cultural and historical campus. More than 170,000 square feet of renovation and expansion was undertaken, resulting in new permanent exhibitions and gallery space, including the Naylor Family Dinosaur Gallery.
Witte Museum was first established in 1926 under the Charter of San Antonio Museums Association. It serves as an official Smithsonian Affiliate museum and provides student groups in particular one of the most immersively educational experiences in San Antonio.

Opt-in for a Field Trip experience while here, with different categories of learning activities and tours such as nature, science, and culture. Your students can explore the H-E-B Body Adventure Treehouse, head to the Orientation Theater, participate in daily demos, shop at the Bolner Family Museum Store, or enjoy the surrounding scenery along the historic San Antonio River outdoors.
