Old Courthouse St. Louis

This stop is ‘one of St. Louis’ most visually memorable and historic sites’, a true architectural masterpiece completed in 1862. This is the very site of the infamous Dred Scott Trial as well as the Virginia Minors Women’s Suffrage Campaign, two very important historic events in the United States.

Inside your group can explore temporary exhibits on such subjects as Lewis and Clark, Native Americans, the Fur Trade, and Colonial St. Louis, all educational and interesting exhibits to explore. Your group can even take part in a ranger-led program, of which many different subjects can be chosen. We can set this up for you, as it is needed to be reserved in advance (that’s our job!). This is always a great option for groups looking for historical insight and local city history.
